Purpose
Fifteen years running operations for PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, and United Airlines across Chicago and the Midwest, I managed hundreds of frontline workers. I know how demanding the work is, and I know how much the small things matter when you're trying to keep a team focused and on schedule.
Part of that job was managing the vendors who serviced those facilities. When a supplier didn't show up, when the machine was empty, when nobody answered the phone, it wasn't just an inconvenience. It affected the people on the floor, and it reflected on everyone responsible for keeping things running.
Stacked Vending started as a simple idea. Be the kind of vendor and partner that actually shows up. I grew up in Grand Rapids and is now where I'm raising my family. The people working these facilities are my neighbors. This company is a way of investing back into the community that raised me.
When your crew has a 15-minute break and nowhere to go, a well-stocked machine isn't a convenience. It's the only thing that keeps them fed and on time. I take that seriously.
We show up, we stay stocked, and we take care of the people using our machines. That's the whole idea.
